Abstract
This paper describes the six-car, chopper controlled, electrical multiple units supplied to the Seoul Metropolitan Subway Corporation for use on Lines 2, 3 and 4 of Seoul's subway system. Details of the vehicles, the signalling system, train performance, propulsion, braking and auxiliary equipments are given, together with an outline of pre-service testing and in-service running.
