Abstract
In parallel with the electric motor and the steam turbine, which provide suitable high-speed power, the centrifugal pump has been developed to a high degree of reliability and efficiency.
This paper describes a recent step in this development, namely, the research manufacture and adoption of single-entry pumps, combined with their driving mechanisms, for medium and large power duties.
