Abstract
A Special Meeting was held at the Institution, London, on Friday, 6th September 1946, and was addressed by Mr. William L. Batt, Vice-President of the War Production Board of the U.S.A., on the progress in the United States of work towards the unification of screw thread practice. A complementary statement on the progress of British work was afterwards presented by Mr. Stanley J. Harley. Mr. O. V. S. Bulleid, President, occupied the chair.
