Paper 4: Towards the All-Plastics Motor Car

Abstract

This paper outlines the wide spectrum of plastics now available and attempts to give a basic understanding of the techniques for this manufacture. Automobile engineers often say that the plastics industry does not appreciate the real problems of the motor industry. The author questions this and suggests that the motor industry does not understand the real advantages of sophisticated plastics.
