This paper presents a two-level manipulation concept, featuring minimal configuration for attaining the working point in the working space without obstacles, and the compensating part in the form of a gripper, by means of which the problem of the corresponding orientation is fully solved.
An industrial manipulator based on this concept is realized and the results of experimental trials using a microprocessor controller are given.
