Research Note: Hydrodynamic Basis of Wave-Energy Converters of Channel Form

Abstract

A study is made of a train of ideal deep-sea waves, 2b in width, entering a channel of the same width whose flexible walls move horizontally and normally to the wave direction in simple harmonic motion so as to extract energy from the waves.
