Interference of laminar flow on displacement thickness in a streamwise corner

Abstract

This paper features a mathematical model of the wave function of fully developed nonperturbed laminar flow in the viscous region along an arbitrary-angle corner formed by the intersection of two semi-infinite flat plates. This model is then applied to determine the displacement thickness in the presence of a corner in the flow field.
