Abstract
Reaction rate plays a major role in modelling of aluminium dust cloud combustion. In this article, a new model for the reaction rate is presented as a function of aluminium particle size distributions and ignition temperature of each particle. Moreover, the reaction rate is obtained in proportion to the amount of fuel considered to be constant in the reaction zone of previous models. In comparison with the old models, the new model is closer to the experimental results.
