In this paper, geysers are considered as self-oscillatory systems functioning in a relaxation regime and generating a random consequence of short eruptions of water and vapour. These eruptions can be treated as a random consequence of autosolitons. Our calculations show that the random character of these ejections is not a manifestation of dynamical chaos but it is conditioned by the randomness of the boiling process.
