In this paper, tooth surface contact fatigue strength, lubrication state, and efficiency, etc., are considered and a parameter design of the toroidal drive is provided. Based on an analysis of the drive errors and noise, the structural design of the drive is also provided. The structure can absorb vibration and lighten the impaction between the planet teeth and stator or worm teeth and can achieve an even load distribution and improve the manufacture of the drive. A new manufacturing method for the stator is given. This method has high machining efficiency, high surface accuracy, and it is easy to achieve.
