Abstract
This article describes an undergraduate course concerning the psychology of the stock market. The course presents an overview of psychological factors influencing the stock market and affords students an opportunity to assess their psychological reactions to investing or speculating. Topics covered include investment basics, a historical overview, modern writers, eminent personalities, and a review of research and theory. This course could promote a more systematic and scientific investigation of the psychology of the stock market.
