Strategies for Debugging Control Language of Statistical Software Packages

Abstract

The use of statistical software packages is often taught in psychology courses. Error messages from these packages are often little help to students who try to debug control language. In order to remediate this problem, a number of methods for preventing and correcting errors in control language are presented.
