Abstract
Building on methods used in the recovery of nickel from sulphide concentrates, the Westaim Corp. (formerly Sherritt Gordon Mines Ltd) has developed a process that uses pressure hydrometallurgy to produce high quality composite nickel powders which are ideally suited to thermal spray applications.
