Abstract
This one day meeting, sponsored jointly by the Metals Technology and Powder Metallurgy Committees of The Institute of Metals and The Institute of Ceramics, had the stated aim of reviewing the current status of engineering ceramics and providing an introductory survey of the subject for materials scientists and engineers.
