Abstract
A sintering equation based on generalized geometric and structural conceptions is derived from the known characteristics of sintering real systems which enables the authors to describe geometric and structural state changes in the particle contact region. Information is given on the influence of sintering time, heating rate, and pressure on the structural activity and densification kinetics during isothermal sintering. The known model theoretical sintering equations are incorporated as special cases in the present theoretical statements. PM/0130
