Abstract
Although recognized quality-control procedures are used in ferrous structural sintered parts production, there are areas where the controls must be tailored to accommodate the special techniques used in the process. This paper sets out to define the variables that can occur at all stages of production and suggests the practical parameters within which these variables should be controlled. From this information a comprehensive quality-control procedure has been formulated.
