Abstract
Methods for the preparation of alloys containing dispersed non-metallic phases, particularly oxides, are reviewed and work on their structures and properties discussed. Although many difficulties are encountered in manufacture, the materials offer considerable promise for future development in respect of high-temperature strength and stability.
