Abstract
The Work on magnetic materials up to about 1950 has been comprehensively reviewed and documented in āFerromagnetismā by R. M. Bozorth. Since that time, however, a great many new developments have taken place, as interest in magnetism and magnetic materials has grown almost explosively. This paper will be concerned chiefly with those developments that have taken place within about the last decade, and will be mostly limited to metals and alloys.
