Abstract
For nearly ten years it has been possible to produce adequate quantities of artificial radioisotopes in atomic piles, and these products have already been used in many different branches of scientific and technological research on account of their special properties. Their employment in the metallurgical field is perhaps a little less extensive than, for example, in biology; it is nevertheless possible to cite a considerable number of researches, corresponding to widely different conditions of application.
