Experiments were carried out to study the temperature dependence of the interfacial shear strength in SCS-6 fibre reinforced Ti–24Al–11Nb (at.-%) composites. The fibre pushout technique was used with a diamond indenter and a high temperature microhardness tester. The interfacial shear strength was found to decrease with increasing temperature.
