Abstract
The use of electronic information for airline operations falls logically into three time-frames: pre-flight, flight and post-flight, although considerable feedback occurs between. Numerous electronic system have been developed to aid such diverse and complex operations as schedule generation, flight catering, engine maintenance, navigation, data recording, flight traffic control, financing and marketing as well as pro-ration. All are reviewed here.
