Abstract
In the present review the developments in the theory and practice of tubemaking over the past decade or so are reviewed. The various manufacturing techniques fall naturally into the categories of seamless and welded tube making, but the latter area is so diversified that a comprehensive review cannot be accommodated here. Consequently, only an outline of the welding procedures is given.
