Abstract
During the period since the last review, production of superpurity metals has, it may be accepted, continued at an appreciably increased rate. Except for the elements used for semi-conductors (germanium, silicon, arsenic, gallium, phosphorus, selenium, and tellurium), the main demand remains for research purposes.
