Erratum

Abstract

It has come to the publisher's attention that an error was introduced in “The Impact of Industrial Offsets on the US Machine Tool Industry” by Alan Macpherson in Volume 7, Issue 2–3 of this journal.

The incorrect sentences, appearing on page 105, read as thus:

“(an index score lower than 1 in recent years, implies a comparative advantage). While the US RCA score has always been greater than 1, the post-1980 trend is clearly upward.”

This should have read:

“(an index score greater than 1 implies a comparative advantage). While the US RCA score has never been greater than 1 in recent years, the post-1980 trend is clearly upward.”
