Abstract
The development of a multi-specimen slow cycle corrosion fatigue machine is described and discussed. This equipment allows up to eight specimens to be tested simultaneously in rotating bending at frequencies in the range 1 to 9 Hz. Each specimen may be immersed in its own environment and potentiostatically controlled. Circuits are described which allow the corrosion current and potential of each specimen to be monitored throughout testing.
