The All-Union Conferences on Plasma Accelerators were held in 1971 (Moscow), 1973 (Minsk) and 1976 (Minsk). The subsequent All-Union Conferences on Plasma Accelerators and Ion Injectors were held in 1978 (Moscow), 1982 (Moscow), 1986 (Dnepropetrovsk) and 1989 (Kharkov) (in Russian).
