One of the strengths of the membership services of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM³) is the specialist division and committee structure (see www.iom3.org/divisions). The purpose of this article is to summarise the structure, objectives and activities of the Particulate Engineering Committee (PEC).
