Abstract
Interactions of disubstituted tetrazines with single walled carbon nanotubes have been investigated. The interactions involved are π–π interactions and cycloaddition (Diels-Alder) reactions between tetrazines and carbon nanotubes. These processes resulted in debundling of the nanotubes and their chemical functionalisation. The new nanocomposites have been studied by TEM, Fourier transform infrared and Raman spectroscopy.
