Abstract
The tailor made biodegradable and biocompatible oligomers of 3-hydroxybutyric acid are effective vectors for drugs delivery. The application of nanotechnology to drug delivery is very useful because it enables control at the atomic level. Recent developments in the design of biodegradable polymer for medical applications are briefly surveyed.
