Abstract
Transcutaneus ultrasound (TUS) has been used for a long time for the investigation of the alimentary canal. Positive TUS has been noted useful although negative findings do not exclude bowel disease. This pictorial review particularly demonstrates the usefulness of TUS in the tropical setting where other radiological facilities may be in short supply.
