Abstract
Continuing advances in computing and equipment are increasing the efficacy of breast ultrasound. A few recent significant advances are described. Cine loop, extended field of view and 3D imaging provide improved demonstration of abnormality. With colour Doppler, ultrasound contrast and ultrasound elasticity, imaging these advances can help to improve diagnostic accuracy and monitoring of presurgical breast cancer treatment.
