Abstract
3D and 4D scanning technology are driving forward the capability to diagnose fetal disorders at an accelerating pace. However, unless departments have staff with the skills and training necessary to operate the equipment correctly, and the ability to interpret the image, then they will be open to potential claims for negligence and or breach of duty.
