The high-strainfatigue behaviour of an industrial copper-base alloy, CDA 175 (Cu-2.6Co-0.5Be), has been studied at temperatures of up to 400°C inpush-pull extension-controlled cycling. The alloy was examined in two microstructural conditions (involving variations inprecipitate distributions) and the time tofailure and the fracture characteristics were correlated with structural changes.
