Thermal analysis has been used to determine the liquidus and to characterize the reactions in the In- Pb-Sn system. Two quasi-peritectic invariant reactions were found: liq + (Sn) ⇄ (Pb) + γ at 171°C and liq + (Pb) ⇄ β + γ at 136° C.
