Segregation levels of Ni and Sb on the free surface of Fe have been measured for binary and ternary alloys of Fe-4 at.-%Ni-0.0087 at.-%Sb. Nickel segregates at all temperatures in the binary and ternary alloys with a free energy of segregation ∆G = −15.5 kJ mol−1. Antimony segregates in the binary and ternary alloys to equilibrium coverages of 1 < θ < 2 monolayers. There is no observed increase in the surface coverage of Ni due to the presence of segregated Sb at temperatures above 920 K.
