Abstract
Studies of thermoelectric uniformity have been carried out on both undoped and doped p and n type specimens of Bi2Te3 based alloys using a scanning thermoprobe. It has been found that the thermoelectric uniformity of the specimens improves with doping. Room temperature Hall effect measurement studies have also been carried out. The mobility of both p and n type specimens has been found to improve with doping. These studies have direct relevance on the preparation of thermoelements for thermoelectric coolers.
