Abstract
The Way-Off Broadway Deli is a small business venture in rural Saint Pauls, North Carolina, that is operated and managed by the business students of Saint Pauls High School. The enterprise, a collaborative venture on the part of students, school administration, and the community, serves as a laboratory for the business education program, a source of much need employment for students, and a symbol of economic development in the community.
