This article describes a classroom aerobic exercise program for rural middle school students in an emotional disabilities special education program. The program can be easily adapted for other ages or disabilities. Aerobics were done three times each week for twenty weeks during second semester. Positive peer attention and improved self-image are highlighted results. Teacher participation and flexible management skills are stressed in considering replication.
