Describe effectiveness of diagnostic medical programs with varied learning concentrations seeking JRC-DMS programmatic accreditation through CAAHEP undergoing virtual compared with conventional on-site visits
Identify the JRC-DMS virtual site program accreditation quantitative and qualitative research questions developed for this study
Explain the impact this study supporting virtual site visits for diagnostic medical sonography programs seeking accreditation through JRC-DMS/CAAHEP might provide for future research and practice
Currently CAAHEP accredits more than 2200 entry-level education programs in how many varied health science professions? 109 32 2200 28
The study evaluating virtual site visits consisted of how many quantitative research questions? 4 2 3 1
The number of JRC-DMS programs seeking ongoing programmatic accreditation meeting inclusion criteria for the virtual site visit project and also received CAAHEP Award Letters was? 109 32 28 17
An example of Level 1 (low level) noncompliance Site Visit Citation provided in the manuscript was? Inappropriately credentialed instructor teaching a specific course Graduate student outcomes reporting Appropriateness of Program Goals Student outcomes assessment
One of the study limitations noted by the author(s) was? Small sample size Inconclusive findings Lack of qualitative data Confounding variables
Qualitative data analytics were needed for open-ended questions, obtained from program directors undergoing virtual site visits, to develop common_______. Correlation coefficients Chi Square statistics Diagrams Themes
What test was used to prove or disprove if significant differences comparing DMS program learning concentrations existed between on-site or virtual site visits? Students T test Pearson’s correlation coefficient Tukey’s test Scatterplot
Pearson’s correlation coefficient findings in the Figure 1 graph demonstrate? There was no correlation On-site visits had fewer citations Virtual and on-site visits show no relationship The scatterplot confirms a relationship
One example of a stated benefit noted in the study for programmatic virtual site visits was? Lower costs More rigorous paperwork No need for preparation Less stressful than on-site scrutiny
On-site accreditation visits were halted by JRC-DMS on March 16, 2020 impacted by the rapid onset of Covid-19 citing? Travel restrictions Shortage of site visitors Health and safety concerns CAAHEP mandate
