Abstract
In the blown film process, bubble cooling significantly impacts the ori entation of the film and plays an intergral role in the physical perfomance of the finished product. This study describes the effects of cooling on the processing param eters and physical properties of HMW-HDPE film resins The effects of fabrication with internal bubble cooling (IBC) versus non-IBC at various neck heights are also explored. Physical properties as well as process information are provided which focus on film properties in both IBC and non-IBC configurations
