Radiation curable, 100% convertible liquid formulations based on "Macromolecu lar Monomers" perform as thermoplastic elastomers when polymerized by ultraviolet light or electron beam radiation. Dissolved in acrylate monomer bases, these films are flexible, tack-free and perform admirably as heat activated adhesives. Suitable macromolecular monomers (macromonomers) are high molecular weight polystyryl polymers that are terminated at only one end with a functional methacrylate end-group.
