Abstract
Removal of heat from the melt exiting the die is often the key factor m a blown film systems capability. By weight averaging of thermodynamic properties, the analysis of coextrusion system can be simplified and results accurate to within 5% can be obtained This paper will go over this method of analysis and give some examples where this approach is appropriate and where it isn't.
