Abstract
Under the conditions of these experiments the interaction between toluidine blue and heparin or chondroitin sulphate is affected quantitatively by the addition of albumin. This effect can be reversed by the addition of ascorbic acid to the solution. The mechanism of action of the ascorbic acid is a subject for further study.
