A Triumphant Moment for IAAPS: India’s Tricolour Shines at Singapore ISAPS Congress-2025

What a truly heartwarming and profoundly symbolic picture (Figure 1). It captures so many stories and aspirations within a single frame: IAAPS members proudly holding the Indian tricolour on foreign soil.

This image unequivocally declares that Bharat has arrived. It is a powerful statement that this generation is poised to command the world stage in aesthetic innovations and research, and to deliver unparalleled quality in surgery and academia.

Furthermore, it beautifully illustrates how, amidst the rich tapestry of India’s diverse cultural heritage and regional traditions, we remain united in heart and mind under the banner of our tricolour.

Figure 1 is more than just a beautiful sight; it marks a landmark event for IAAPS. It is a moment that will undoubtedly be etched into the association’s history, not only for the record-breaking number of delegates and speakers but also for the significant achievement of conducting an entire IAAPS session within the ISAPS congress. India took 59 delegates. There were 68 presentations, and several of them won medals (Table 1). IAAPS got a separate session with 10 presenters presenting in the IAAPS sessions.

Each member of this distinguished contingent, captured in this historic frame, should now step forward to become part of an organising committee for the Indian version of the ISAPS Olympiad.
