Whether acute or chronic, infantile proptosis is a cause for immediate concern. We report 4 cases of unilateral infantile proptosis with different etiologies, yet similar initial presentation: fibrous dysplasia, traumatic brain hemorrhage with heterotopic bone formation, disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), and malignant orbital teratoma. The goal of this case series is to highlight the wide range of etiologies and the necessity for interdisciplinary management for satisfactory outcome.
