Abstract
The diagnosis of CRMO of the craniomaxillofacial skeleton is often delayed due to shared clinical features with a range of alternate diagnoses. We present our recent CRMO case series and resulting review of the literature in an effort to re-emphasize CRMO to surgical providers as a diagnostic consideration in inflammatory pathologies of the craniomaxillofacial skeleton. The series elucidates the diagnostic criteria, work-up, and management of this pathology to promote more efficient multidisciplinary communication and coordination highlighting that earlier treatment portends a more favorable prognosis.
