Abstract

Dear Editor,
We would like to share ideas on the publication “Side Effects Comparison of Coronavirus Vaccines Among Healthcare Workers in Shoushtar, Iran.” 1 Iranian healthcare professionals’ reactions to AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Bharat, and Sputnik V are being compared by Nabizadeh et al. 1 The majority of individuals did not experience any potentially fatal adverse effects following the injection of 1 of the 4 vaccines under study, according to Nabizadeh et al. 1 Since it was well received and tolerated by the participants, it can be used widely and securely against SARS-CoV-2, according to Nabizadeh et al. 1
We both concur that safeguarding the COVID-19 is crucial and that additional research is required to address the underlying clinical issue. There may be a connection between immunization rates and the start of clinical illness. A few crucial parameters must be taken into account before a clinical issue may be connected to the COVID-19 vaccination. The first factor considered is co-morbidity. If a clinical state and a disease are given at the same time, the dengue vaccination, for example, may not be effective. 2 It’s particularly crucial to look for COVID-19 people who are asymptomatic and in the early stages. 3 It’s likely that a prior COVID-19 infection had an effect on the vaccine’s efficiency and results. Disease status could become complicated by prior and current SARS-CoV-2 infection. It could be challenging to entirely rule out the effects of prior asymptomatic illnesses without doing the required laboratory testing. Host genetics is an essential auxiliary element. 4 How the immune system manages negative side effects from immunizations may depend on how it reacts to particular genetic components. It would be very helpful to comprehend how the underlying genetic component influences vaccine effectiveness in clinical settings. If more research is to be conducted, this issue must be fixed. If enough data is gathered, researchers might discover more.
