The Evangelist is the regular publication of the Latin America Mission, P.O. Box 52–7900, Miami, FL 33152–7900. During her time of service in Costa Rica, from 1921 until her death in 1950, StrachanSusan edited The magazine, and large parts of it were either written by her or quoted from Harry Strachan's letters and reports. These portions constitute virtually the only published writings of the senior Strachans.
