List of Theses in Foreign Missions and Related Subjects accepted during the Academic Year 1963–64

Abstract

Inquiries concerning any thesis title herein listed should he addressed to the school where the thesis was done, not to the Missionary Research Library.

A very few of the titles listed represent theses accepted prior to the 1963–64 academic session hut knowledge of them was not available to the Missionary Research Library when the December 1963 issue of the Occasional Bulletin was published.

A total of 167 schools were contacted. Most of these were Protestant theological seminaries, though some were universities and some were Roman Catholic graduate schools. There were 118 responses to these inquiries, reporting 71 theses pertinent to this listing; of these 71, twenty-one were doctoral dissertations and fifty were master's theses. As a matter of policy, B.D. and M.R.E. theses are not included.
