Abstract
Creativity is a critical skill in today’s dynamic business environment, yet teaching creativity presents unique challenges due to its abstract nature and common misconceptions. This article introduces an approach to teaching creativity using the documentary The Beatles: Get Back, which provides a real-world example of the creative process in action. Grounded in the componential theory of creativity, this resource enables instructors to illustrate the elements of creativity, including creativity-relevant skills, creativity-relevant processes, intrinsic motivation, and the impact of the work environment, through a case study. The article offers comprehensive instructional support, including scene breakdowns, discussion questions, and teaching strategies adaptable to various classroom settings. Designed for educators in management, organizational behavior, and leadership courses, this resource bridges theory and practice, equipping students with an understanding of how creativity emerges, evolves, and thrives in real-world scenarios.
